Telecoms4Spain.com is operated by Fortec Comunicaciones. Fortec was established in 1998 and has worked with BT Spain from this date. Fortec is now also an authorised distributor for Jazztel, Iberbanda and Quantis as well as a provider of their own telecoms services for businesses.
Questions & Answers For ADSL
Do I pay a transfer/ sign up fee?
No. The transfer/sign up is completely FREE!
Will I receive my bills through the post?
You can request paper bills however to make it a little easier for our clients we will provide you with a username and password to enable you to access your bills online.
Will I have interruption to my internet whilst the transfer takes place?
There may be some interruption to your internet whilst the transfer takes place but as BT handle the transfer we endeavor to make the transfer as seamless as possible. However, when the interrumption of the your Telefonica Internet takes place, you can plug in our router and you can start using our ADSL service.
Do I have to cancel with Telefonica?
No. We will handle the complete transfer for you.
How long does the transfer/Installation take?
The transfer/Installation takes up to 15 days.
Can I use more than one computer with the router?
Yes. Our routers are wireless therefore you can use multiple computers with our system.
What happens when if I go over my 400 Minutes of UK Calls?
Once you have used your 400 minutes your calls will be charged at 4 cents per minute all with per second billing.
Will an engineer come to my property to set up the router?
No. The router is all pre programmed and therefore very easy to set up. We also have English speaking support staff that will talk you through the set up should you have any difficulty.
What MB speed will I get on my line?
The speed BT provides is up to 6MB or up to 20 MB. We will apply the maximum speed that we can for your existing line.
